Veyhollow

A former Sanctuary — one of the most sacred places in Sylvanholt, where the Song sang loudly.

History

Veyhollow was a Sanctuary where the First Oak's roots ran deep. It was here that Noctis followed the Song, seeking the Burrowed Crown.

When the Song repelled him — with pity, not wrath — he shattered the Sanctuary in retaliation. This became known as the Great Root Severing — the first and worst act of Noctimancy.

The rootline was severed, and Veyhollow fell into darkness, becoming a wound in Sylvanholt.
