History

Oren explains that the Skyryn are "born not fully from darkness, nor fully from the Song. Caught between."

Their shame has bound them to the Deadwood. They were once more, but have forgotten who they were. Few venture beyond the Deadwood, and fewer still are welcomed elsewhere.

Appearances

• Chapter XVI — A Skyryn archer guards a checkpoint in the Hollow Spire. Silas uses Song to stun him while Nyra takes him down.

Significance

The Skyryn represent the cost of Noctis's corruption — a once-proud tribe reduced to servants of the Hollow Spire.
