Hollow Spire

Hollow Spire

The central stronghold of Noctis's forces — a tower of twisted resonance built over a wounded rootline of the First Oak.

Description

  • Built over the deepest wounded rootline of the First Oak
  • Constructed from corrupted resonance, not stone
  • Its presence chokes and distorts the Song
  • Contains prison cells for captives (including Nyra)
  • Beneath it lies an ancient lab where experiments were conducted

History

Noctis corrupted the Resonant Anvils to create the Hollow Spire — a tower born of domination rather than harmony. It was built where the First Oak once sang loudest, to silence and twist that power.

Book II

  • Silas is captured and brought here after surrendering at the Hollow Glade
  • Nyra is held prisoner here (captured in Book I)
  • Silas and Nyra reunite in prison
  • Silas is weak
  • Silas begins escape, using Song with harmony (not force) to disrupt barriers
  • Discovers new abilities: resonance sense, invisibility, compassionate healing

First Appearance

Book I (mentioned), Book II (visited)
